Matrimonial and Family Law

We represent clients in all aspects of matrimonial law, litigating issues of equitable distribution, spousal and child support, custody and visitation including numerous highly contested custody and visitation cases, some of which have issues of domestic abuse and violence and elder abuse. We also represent clients who take the uncontested route, including aiding clients through divorce mediations. We have negotiated numerous divorce agreements, child custody and visitation agreements as well as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

In addition, our practice includes a variety of matters in Family Court, including issues involving child support, custody and visitation, questions of paternity, Article 10 (Abuse and Neglect) proceedings, and quasi criminal proceedings such as where related parties have sought Orders of Protection, with allegations of criminal conduct and/or domestic violence. We have represented clients in investigations conducted by and actions brought by the Administration for Children’s Services and also handle cases of young clients in criminal matters brought in Family Court due to the client’s age.
